Creative Writing
Are you looking for a good laugh?
Are you looking to experience a whole gamut of emotions?
Are you looking to meet new friends?
Then look no further. The only qualifications needed for this group are a sense of humour and the ability to string a couple of sentences together. From novice to published author the warmest of welcomes await you in Room 1 of the Emmanuel Church on alternate Wednesday evenings at 7.00pm (please note the new time).
If you want to feel the thrill of creating your own story or poem then give Martyn Jones, the Coordinator, a call. Even if you have never written anything before, feel the fear and do it anyway or else you will never know what you are missing.
In addition to the usual activity of writing stories or poems to be shared at the next meeting, we also, occasionally invite a guest speaker along to talk about their writing experiences. These evenings are extremely well received by members and Authors alike.
During the summer months a day trip is organised to visit the home of a well known Author from the past.
