This well established group is aimed at developing skills in various creative textile projects. We meet on Friday mornings and explore diverse themes.
This group is for both beginners and experienced sewers with a keen interest in being creative and extending their knowledge and skill. Don’t worry if you don’t know much about needlework or embroidery. If you are interested in learning then this is the group for you. You will be taken step by step through the projects by the leader of that project. You will be amazed at what you can make.
Each year we support a local charity by selling some of the work we have produced. Recently we have raised money for Macmillan Nurses and Barnsley Hospice.
Have you got a skill? Are you willing to share it with us? If it involves a needle, we are willing to try it! You’ll need to thread your own needle- so don’t forget to bring your glasses!!
There are spaces in the group for new members and you are welcome to visit.
Plese contact the coordinator to arrange a time.
Meetings take place at 10am on Fridays at Emmanuel Church S75 1DT
