Sequence Dancing
We meet weekly on Friday at 7.00pm at Monk Bretton Methodist Church Hall. We do not meet the Friday between Christmas and New year and Good Friday.....Parking is available.
Our group comprises mainly beginners with a few competent dancers and the aim is to learn sequence dances - but most of all to have fun. So if any of you want to dust off your dancing shoes or maybe get ready for that next holiday/social event where dancing is a possibility then why not join us.
We are a social group who like to dance. We go on two dance trips each year, paid for out of the funds which are collected from the members each Friday. I also organise local dance evening eg..Christmas Dance at the Astoria.
And this November the group are taking a Sequence Dancing holiday. Five days of evening dancing with two morning of training. It’s a first for us so Im hoping all goes well, maybe it will become a annual event.
Unfortunately this group is full and although I do have a waiting list not many dancers leave the group.
