Understanding Everyday Life
The Understanding Everyday Life group meets the first Tuesday of each month at 2pm in a member’s house. Every member participates in whatever measure he or she decides. Together, we chose a topic, the leader provides the starting materials and then the group generate their own lively discussion. No view or opinion is dismissed or ignored. It is always a lively, happy and friendly group.
The range of topics over the last four years has been immense: Childhood development; Dreams; Rituals; Role models; social disease; crime and punishment; Nursery rhymes and Fairy tales. We are planning to discuss “Wonderful Words”, Humour and the Use and Mis-use of the English language. Great Stuff!
