We meet in the Mead Room at 2.30pm on the 4th Wednesday of every month. The current membership has a broad spectrum including non-scientific members.
We like a member to introduce a subject and the other members to have done a little research to create a discussion. Subjects in the past have ranged over spider’s webs, piezo electricity, science in ancient civilisations, pate tectonics, the science of ripening fruit and latest news.
In the future perhaps alchemy in cooking, placebos should doctors prescribe them, the human microbiome and its role in health and disease and, of course, latest news.
