Local History
This Local History Group meets on the third Thursday of every month from September to May(inclusive) at the United Reformed Church, Woodmansterne Lane, Banstead. We arrive at about 10.15 am for refreshments and these are generally followed by a speaker who usually talks for up to an hour from about 10.45 am. We finish at midday.
Recent subjects have been the Final Years of the Crystal Palace and the History of the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club, Wimbledon.
