There are currently four photography groups operating within Bearsden & Milngavie u3a each catering to a wide range of photographic skills and requirements as indicated below and the displayed images. The number of groups has grown in line with the numbers of members and the limitations on space for meetings.
Group 2 meetings are now held in the Community Room at Waitrose, Milngavie. or alternatively the Community Room at ASDA Bearsden from time to time.
Our Group is aimed at photographers with some knowledge of digital photography who are keen to develop & grow their ideas, skills in composition, camera knowledge & editing using commercially available software – from whatever level. Images on agreed topics are discussed at the meetings in a very informal, friendly learning environment. Whether you have an iPhone, travel camera or the latest DSLR, your camera doesn’t matter but your enthusiasm does! Anyone can take a photo - but creating a picture is something else!
