We had 7 walks in 2023, all really enjoyable and with a good turnout.
They are reasonably easy walks, at a pace a bit faster than a stroll but manageable by the average person even if you aren't a regular walker. They take anything up to 2 hours, always back by 9pm. Examples of previous walks are walks around Dougalston, Baldernock, Kilmardinny, Craigton, and to the Reservoir and bits of the West Highland Way.
Please come prepared for the weather and with suitable footwear eg walking trainers. We don't go out on very wet evenings but if it's a wee bit showery we usually go ahead.
- You don't have to let us know you're coming but if you're on the mailing list please check your emails beforehand for any changes
We look forward to welcoming you!
Please note all walkers need to be u3a members
