Meeting Times :Friday PM, Fortnightly
There are currently four photography groups operating within Bearsden & Milngavie u3a each catering to a wide range of photographic skills and requirements as indicated below and the displayed images. The number of groups has grown in line with the numbers of members and the limitations on space for meetings.
The aim of the group is to improve the knowledge and enjoyment of photography for group members with topic discussions and field trips.
The group meets in the house of one of our members or on location. Meetings normally last for about two hours. We view and critique images from the project set at the previous meeting and hopefully learn from each other's experiences.
At our meeting on Friday 8th of March we viewed images from our subject "Hyperfocal Distance" which had been suggested by Cyndy. This had provoked some thought and hair tearing, but everyone managed to produce some good images. There was as usual plenty of discussion and good natured laughs. Thanks to everyone for their contribution
Our next meeting will be on the Friday 22nd of March. The topic is "Intentional Camera Movement" suggested by Walter.
Please ensure that you have your images loaded onto Google Drive by Thursday PM on the week of the meeting.
The purpose of the set subjects is to encourage members to explore and become familiar with all aspects of their equipment and to stretch their talents as photographers.
