Photography 4 - Happy Snappers

There are currently four photography groups operating within Bearsden & Milngavie u3a each catering to a wide range of photographic skills and requirements as indicated below and the displayed images. The number of groups has grown in line with the numbers of members and the limitations on space for meetings. Currently Group No. 4 are seeking applications from interested members.
Group 4 meetings generally are at a particular location lending itself to be happily snapped suggested by a participant between 10:00 and 12:00 every second Friday and usually end up at a coffee shop for coffee & a chat. (Previous venues have included: Loch Ardinning, Mugdock gun sites, Glasgow University Campus, Riverside Museum and Kelvinhall Museum)
Our Group is aimed at casual photographers who are keen just to take pictures with whatever type of camera is owned or to hand, whether it be old or new, compact, mobile phone or DLSR and at whatever level their skill set is at. We leave the technical stuff to the big people.

The next meeting will be on Friday 15th March 2024. The venue is the City Chambers (tour lasts 45minutes & is free) meeting at 10:00am at the main entrance opposite the Cenotaph in George Square.
