Bearsden & Milngavie

Mahjong

Convenor: Carolyn Flavelle
Meeting Times: Weekly, Mondays 19:00 - 21:00
Venue: The Station Inn (Upstairs Room), Bearsden Station

Do you know your Kongs from your Pongs and Chows or would you like to know?. If so, then MAHJONG may be the game for you. It is a tile based game that was developed in the 19th century in China and has spread throughout the world since the early 20th century. It is commonly played by four players. Similar to the western card game Rummy, Mahjong is a game of skill, strategy and a fair bit of luck.

The MAHJONG group has been meeting regularly for 7 years and would be delighted to have new players, both those who have played before as well as beginners. The Group generally follows UK Mahjong Rules and the priority is just to enjoy the get togethers.

If you have played before or would like to learn and are interested in joining or would just like to know more about the Group and the Game please click on the Message Bird (top right) to message the Group Convenor, Carolyn Flavelle.
