Pudding Club
Our little group continues to meet once a month when we enjoy all sorts of puddings, both sweet and savoury. Our December meeting saw us comparing Christmas Puddings. Marks and Spencer came out on top of the bought puddings but Steve Robert's pudding (I cannot tell a lie it was actually Denise’s) was equally delicious. We also shared a Rocky Road version of a Christmas Pudding and an actual figgy pudding. All washed down well with a fine pudding wine. After the indulgences of Christmas, our January meeting was all about low calorie puddings (yes there are such things), and February, being the shortest month, will see us trying bite size puddings.
We are a small group which meets in members' homes on the first Friday of the month at 12.30pm. We are happy for more people to join us, so if you like puddings, making or just eating them, enjoy a chat and would like to join us, just give me a ring.
The Pudding Club members would like to share with you some of the recipes we have sampled over the last year. Hopefully you will be pleased to know that a Pudding Club Recipe book is still available to purchase for just £1.
