Welcome to Aston Clinton u3a

Aston Clinton u3a was formally constituted on 8th February 2006 with an initial membership of 85 and 21 activity groups.

We were formally admitted to the Third Age Trust on 15th May 2006 and granted charitable status on 19th July 2006. Our Constitution can be viewed via the link on the right of this page.

Our membership is approx. 250 and we have about 30 activity groups. A Group Summary list can be found under links on the Groups page.

Input and support from members is always encouraged and appreciated, as it is this which makes Aston Clinton such a welcoming and popular u3a.

Main meetings are held on the third Tuesday of each month in the Aston Clinton Baptist Church, 52 Green End Street, Aston Clinton, HP22 5EX, commencing at 2.30pm. The format for these meetings includes notices about upcoming events and activities, a talk from an invited speaker on a topic of general interest, and refreshments. The meeting finishes by 4.30pm. An Information Email is sent out every month to all members who have provided their email address. A copy of the current information email can be viewed/printed via the link on the News/Update page.

To join an Activity Group, go to the Groups page, click on the Activity Group you are interested in, then message the group convenor using the blue 'messenger pigeon' in the top right-hand corner of the page.

If you wish to apply for membership please download and complete a membership application form and email it to the Membership Secretary using the email address on the form. The membership subscription is £17.00 per annum, which is due on the 1st January each year. If you join on or after the 1st July the subscription for the remainder of the year is £8.50.
