Meetings take place:- The 4th Tuesday of each month except August & December
When:- 2.30 pm to 4.30 pm
Where:- The Anthony Hall, Aston Clinton
The objective of the group is to make History interesting and relevant to all .
The group does not confine itself to one particular aspect of History .
We invite a wide range of speakers, both group members and others, who cover a broad range of subjects .
Group members are encouraged to share their own interests
Usually there are 3 to 5 excursions planned each year ; frequently the excursions are linked in some way to one of the talks.

| Tue Feb 23rd | A History of Whitby Phil Storr Tuesday 23rd February at 02:30 I was planning to give a short talk last year to coincide with the U3A trip to Yorkshire and Whitby This is expanded now to cover more aspects including fossils ,whaling ,Captain Cook and Vampires and a little bit of family history I gave parts of it to my grandsons class of 6 year olds ,hope it goes down as well with you Roger will send out the login nearer the time Everybody welcome |
