Details of Group Activities:
We walk on the third Wednesday of the month, generally meeting at 10:20 am for a 10:30 start. The walk is usually between 2.5 and 3.5 miles over fairly easy terrain (i.e. no steep inclines and no difficult styles). We don’t expect people to walk quickly! The walks are circular always returning to the starting point. Most of us drive to the starting points and lifts can always be arranged. Following our walk, unless we have other commitments, we get together for lunch, usually in a pub but have used other venues such as garden centre cafés.
We take it in turns (normally in pairs) to organise walks and lunches. Give us a try, we’re sure you will enjoy the fresh air (and the lunch!)
