Short Walks

Our walking programme has included both valley and moorland areas, some including a hilly section with others on the flat and varying in distance from 3 - 4 miles to take into account the needs of everyone.

Members of the group lead the walks. Do not be apprehensive about offering to be a leader, there will be others to help. Three people have lead walks for the first time and they were very successful at it.

Monday is the most popular day for our group of 25 walkers and also a popular day for other U3A Activities and Walking Groups to which some of you belong.

Walk leaders will contact you with details of the walk nearer the date. It is also helpful for you to car share and or be prepared to help share the cost of fuel.

Details of the 2018 walking programme will published in the near future.
