The group meets once a month on a Thursday afternoon from 2.30pm to 4.30pm at the Waterside Centre, Ashbourne. I connect my computer to Internet and project on a screen for everyone to see the information I am getting on my computer.

Our monthly meetings generally consist of members reporting on their latest discoveries and/or asking for help in advancing with their searches. Sometimes we have a talk on a specific subject. A cup of tea and a biscuit are a must at some point in the afternoon!

In September 2018, to coincide with the centenary of the end of the war, we put up a very successful exhibition in Ashbourne Library about Our Ancestors in World War I. Our next project is to put together for 2020 an exhibition about our ancestors in World War II to mark the 75th anniversary of the end of this war.
