NOTICE OF ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING
The Annual General Meeting of Arun West u3a will take place on Thursday 9th May 2024 at 10.30am at St Mary’s Centre, Grassmere Close, Felpham PO22 7NU.

COFFEE MORNINGS & MONTHLY TALKS

Wednesday 15 May 2024 – Odette – Louise Higham. Odette was the most highly decorated spy of the Second World War and was also awarded the George Cross. Her story will be told by her granddaughter.

CHARITY SALES TABLE
As you will all know we raised £1,300 last year for the Vulnerable Family Project and we had a very nice letter from the Charity thanking us for our donation.. We have supported this charity since the Sales Table was started in 2018.
This year however we are supporting the RNLI in their 200th Anniversary year of 'Saving Lives at Sea'.
We have all seen the programmes and know what an amazing job these volunteers do to keep us safe whilst we live 'beside the Sea! This is particularly poignant for us as the Lifeboats were built in the William Osborne Shipyard in Rope Walk, Littlehampton back in the 60's and many tradesmen in the Littlehampton area worked on them.
We will still be supporting the Family Charity with any useful items you may have so please do not hesitate to contact Gaida

All Arun West and Littlehampton members are welcome.
Doors open at 6.30pm and the quiz will start at 6.45pm prompt.
Supper will be approx. 8pm with a choice of either Fish or Chicken & Chips
Please bring your own drinks, nibbles, cutlery and condiments.

SUMMER CREAM TEA FOR MEMBERS.
Summer Cream Tea, Wednesday 19th June, 2024, at Barnham Community Hall, 2.00 pm - 4.00 pm - £5.00 per Head (same price as last year) to include a free raffle and quiz and hopefully some sunshine!
Numbers are limited and will be based on a first come first served basis.
