Meditation and Mindfulness 1,2,3 & 4
WHAT DOES THE GROUP DO?:
Meditation is a way of calming our minds, and mindfulness is being more present to what is happening around us. Both can be learnt and developed with practice. The benefits include reducing stress, and helping us find meaning and be more creative. We will discuss and learn about meditation and mindfulness. The sessions will be led by Dr Craig Brown, a recently retired local GP.
LEVEL OF EXPERTISE:
There are 4 Groups, meeting fortnightly. Groups 1 & 3 both start at 9:30am for one hour but on alternate weeks, and Groups 2 & 4 both start at 11:00am for one hour on alternate weeks.
