Book Circle Two
This group meets once a month at The Old Forge (a coffee shop) at 6a Church Street, Storrington. Parking is available at the library car park or further up Church Street. There is a No.1 bus stop nearby.
Our aim is to enjoy stimulating books of less than 500 pages covering a variety of subjects. Books are chosen by each member in turn and can be sourced according to individual choice — from the library, borrowed from a friend, bought new or second hand from places such as Momox, Oxfam or World of Books.
We meet on the last Wednesday of the month from approximately 10.30 to 12:00. The discussion offers members an opportunity to share their views about their likes, dislikes, writing style, story content and to make recommendations.
The 2022 meeting dates and book choices are as follows:
26 January — ‘Moving’ by Jenny Eclair
23 February — ‘Cutting for Stone’ by Adam Verghese
30 March — ‘Uncertain Light’ by Marion Molteno
27 April — 'Three Hours’ by Rosamund Lupton
25 May — ‘Double Crossed’ by Brian Wood
