Arden u3a

As we emerge from the shadows of lockdown, are you considering developing new interests and making new friends? If so, Arden u3a might be just what you need. There are many u3a groups in Solihull, most of them larger than ours, and many so big they rarely all meet together in one place. Arden u3a with only a hundred members is large enough to offer a wide range of activity groups but small enough to have regular meetings where everyone is invited. We are a self-help, self-managed group originally set up in 1992 to provide educational, creative and leisure activities for retired or semi-retired members of the community. One of the reasons we are so popular is that we get together every week during school term times at our Core Meetings to listen to quality speakers covering a wide range of topics.

Much of our website has deliberately been left as it was when Covid-19 hit so that any prospective members can get some idea of the range of subjects and interests that are available at Arden u3a.

The Meetings Page gives further information about when and where we meet, and membership details.

It is also worth taking a look at the Latest News Page. The emergence from lockdown presents its own problems in terms of planning so changes and alterations are documented here as and when they happen. You will also see details of Activity Groups that were meeting remotely during the lockdown.

Stop Press : Our Core Monday Meetings will be restarting from 13th September 2021 in a Covid Secure environment at the Bridge Club. Please refer to the Latest News page for more details.

If you would like to find out more about Arden u3a, please get in touch with our Membership Secretary whose details are on the Contact Page.
