Arden u3a

Are you or have you recently retired or semi-retired? Are you considering developing new interests and making new friends? If so, Arden u3a might be just what you need. There are many u3a groups in Solihull, most of them larger than ours, and many so big they rarely all meet together in one place. Arden u3a with up to a hundred members is large enough to offer a wide range of activity groups but small enough to have regular meetings where everyone is invited. We are a self-help, self-managed group originally set up in 1992 to provide educational, creative and leisure activities for retired or semi-retired members of the community. One of the reasons we are so popular is that we get together every week during school term times at our Core Meetings to listen to quality speakers covering a wide range of topics.

Our website will give you a flavour of what we have been doing recently and also what is planned for 2024. The Core Meeting page outlines the programme of talks for the next few months and the Groups page indicates the range of activities available. The Meetings page gives further information about when and where we meet, and membership details.

It is also worth taking a look at the Latest News Page. This page is used to highlight any alterations or current issues for our members.

If you would like to find out more about Arden u3a, please get in touch with our Membership Secretary whose details are on the Contact Page.
