The Science Today Group meets on the first Thursday of the month at the group leaders’ house in Solihull starting at 10am. We have twelve or thirteen regular members plus occasional visitors who are always welcome.
As our title suggests we look at current developments in science, industry, engineering, food production and medicine with regard to how they impact on our lifestyles and affect our quality of life. Generally speaking, members choose a topic that particularly interests them to present to the group.
The topics we investigate may sound serious, indeed they are, but the meetings are friendly, relaxed, enthusiastic and full of good humour.
