Walking Group

The Walking Group usually meets on a Monday, but a walk could be arranged on any day of the week except Friday. It is the Walk Leader who decides the route and the date.

Length of walks vary between 2 and 5 miles. Routes are usually circular, taking in the coastal path and footpaths of Anglesey, but could also be anywhere in north west Wales.

To give us more variety of walks, walkers who wish to organise and lead a walk are always welcome. All routes are assessed for suitability by the leader.

Walk dates and details are communicated to members by email, a link on this page and also announced at our U3A Friday meetings.

It would be extremely helpful if participating walkers could let the walk leader, displayed on the attached walks programme, know in advance (before 21.00 hrs on the night before the walk is due to take place) or before 09.00 hrs on the actual day of the walk please. It would save time and fuel for the leader if no one intends to turn up for the walk on the day!!. Thanking you in anticipation.
