Writing

The writing group meets on the 4th Monday of each month at 2pm in members’ homes.
We’re a friendly and supportive group. Members have different interests, including historical fiction, poetry, speculative fiction, memoir, comedy and script writing. We agree a writing task every month. Contributions are circulated prior to the meeting, where each piece is read out and discussed. Recently, we’ve tackled ghost stories, poetry and a piece written from an unusual point of view.
