Introductory Lectures and Seminars in Psychoanalysis
Penrith October 2016 – March 2017
If you have ever wondered what psychoanalysis really is and are interested in finding out more about psychoanalytical ways of thinking about the mind and the world this series may be of interest to you. Each lecture is followed by small group discussion and the series provides an overview of psychoanalysis and its main applications. The series has been running in London for many years and is also offered in Leeds and Belfast and is designed to be of value and interest to those new to the subject as well as those with prior knowledge or experience. The venue is Penrith Methodist Centre and the lecturers are experienced clinicians and teachers and members of the British Psychoanalytical Society. The two convenors, Veronica Gore and Elizabeth Gibb, are psychoanalysts living in Cumbria.
