Alnwick

Previous Herbal Programmes

Over the past 3 years, the Alnwick Herb Group have discussed over 30 herbs – their uses, scientific evidence of efficacy, pharmacology, identification, and history. The discussions have covered herbs for joint, respiratory and digestive health and problems; first aid herbs; herbs to support immunity and treat infections; herbs to promote and protect mental health; herbs used for pain management and to reduce inflammation. We have looked at herbs such as cannabis and turmeric in terms of the scientific evidence for their use, formats and dosages and their complementarity.
