On Friday 28 February a group of 8 members met at Jan’s house to sample a range of 10 Belgian Biers. Each bier was accompanied by some facts about the area, brewery or beer. The strength of the beers ranged from 0% to 12% and from very pale lager style beers to a stout. Whilst individual tastes and score
1st Karmeleit Tripel ABV 8.3% 53.5/80
2nd St Feillien Saison ABV 6.5% 42.5/80
=3rd Quintine Blond ABV 8% 42/80
=3rd Brugse Zot ABV 6.5% 42/80
5th Vleteren Blond ABV 12% 41.5/80
=6th Hoegaarden Rosé ABV 0% 41/80
