German

German Conversation Herzlich Willkommen!

This group normally meets on the first and third Tuesdays of each month.

Venue: Northern Arts Club, 8 Bon Accord Square, Aberdeen

Due to the ongoing Coronavirus status we will no longer be able to meet in person but we will continue our studies via ZOOM

There are many ways that you can continue with your German, learning at home. It is really beneficial to do a little every day. Even 15 minutes a day can help with language learning. Use the free apps like Duolingo, Memrise, Babbel,
RosettaStone. They can be fun. Utube is a fantastic source of material - just do a search . I like the series Learn German and it has a very interesting video clip about the Coronavirus in Germany . Experiment and find new sources to expand your skills. The website of Deutsche Welle has a host of wonderful material at all levels. Watch films in German that you can find on Amazon Prime, Netflix or TalkTalk's 'Walter Pressents' series . There is a lot available and try to listen to as much German as you can. Try a little every day and you'll surprise yourself how much you know and it will give you a focus.

Keep well and keep safe.
Alles Gute und bis zum naechsten Treffen….
