Walks are normally held on the second Saturday of each month, from September to June, and we meet at 10am. Most walks are on fairly level ground and of 4-7 miles in length, but a few may be more testing. Instead of having a single group leader, individual members volunteer to lead walks of their own choosing. New members are welcome to join us on our monthly walks.
Each session's walks are listed on the webpage, emailed to group members, and also intimated at the U3A monthly meetings. Full details of each month's walk are usually added to the website a couple of weeks ahead of the walk date.
Now that restrictions have been eased to allow a greater number of different households to meet outdoors, we are resuming activity in accordance with Scottish government guidelines and the guidance provided by the U3A national body, the Third Age Trust.
