Walks are held on the second Saturday of each month, from September to June, and we usually meet at 10am. Most walks are on fairly level ground and of 4-7 miles in length, but a few may be more testing. Instead of having a single group leader, individual members volunteer to lead walks of their own choosing. New members are welcome to join us on our monthly walks.
Each session's walks are listed below, emailed to group members, and also intimated at the U3A monthly meetings. Full details of each month's walk are added a couple of weeks ahead of the walk date.

Meet at 10.00am at the Mains of Drum Garden Centre where there are toilets (on the first floor) and plenty of parking. We will walk along a good path towards Drum Castle and start with the farmland walk, and then follow the Drumhill trail. Panoramic views open up across the Dee valley to the south and north to Bennachie. Please wear stout shoes or boots and bring waterproofs. There are refreshments at the Garden Centre but you may wish to bring some for during the walk.
Please note that walkers must be members of the U3A. Members walk at their own risk and will be asked to sign a disclaimer form before their first walk. A copy of the form is available as a link on this page.
