Welcome to Oundle & District U3A

Situated in rural northeast Northamptonshire on the banks of the River Nene, the historic towns of Oundle and Thrapston and surrounding villages enjoy a diverse range of cultural activities, amongst which is the U3A. It was launched in 2008 and now has a membership over 400 with over 40 interest groups. Members meet in each other's houses or local halls (for larger groups) to participate in a wide range of activities (see separate page for groups, times etc)
Monthly Meetings are also held on the second Monday of the month in the Victoria Hall, West Street, Oundle at 2.30pm where invited speakers give talks on a wide variety of subjects. Membership to U3A is open to anyone who is past the stage in life where they would be in full time employment. However U3A does not specify any minimum age for membership. You must be a paid up member of U3A before you are able to join any of the Interest Groups. At the moment it costs £12.50 annually to join and there is £1 charge for members/£2 for non members when attending the monthly meeting.
Accommodation is limited and entrance to the meeting is on a first come first served basis.
