Welcome
Welcome to the University of the Third Age in Norton Radstock, which covers the towns of Midsomer Norton, and Radstock in North East Somerset and the surrounding villages and communities.
We are a lively and friendly group offering a wide range of activities for those who are over 50 and no longer in full time employment. We hold a members meeting once per month (on the second Monday) from 2 - 4 when we usually have a speaker and a coffee morning once per month (last Monday) 10.30 - 12 noon.
Our meetings are held at The Somer Centre, Midsomer Norton which is just off the High Street next to the Sports Centre. Our current membership is 360 and the Annual Membership fee is £12 single and £20 couple. Visitors are welcome to join us for a "taster" meeting to check if the U3A is for them.
We have 27 Interest Groups which include languages, scrabble, art, line dancing, rambling, local history, garden visits, bird watching and a number of other groups which are well supported. Please use the menu to explore in detail what we have to offer.
If you are not a member, we hope that you will join us. We pride ourselves in being a friendly welcoming group and the feedback received from new members confirms this view.
