Critical Analysis of Poetry
This new idea will meet as a relaxed fortnightly group, to introduce the nature of poetry by discussing tools of critical analysis and encouraging each other to examine ‘how a poem works’. Hopefully, we might even find our lives enriched and enhanced – perhaps in some surprising ways!
No previous knowledge or understanding of poetry is required, although if you can contribute ‘some understanding’ - then this will be welcomed. Our only base lines are: in-group confidentiality, and discussion devoid of acrimony.
