MONTHLY MEETINGS

We hold a general meeting on the first Wednesday of every month at Fairfield Church in Northwood Hills. Our Architecture, Buildings & Places (ABP) group host a meeting on the third Monday of each month, also at Fairfield Church. There may be exceptions and additions to this norm - please check the list of meetings below for details.

The meetings start at 10:30am and feature a talk that typically lasts about 40 minutes followed by an opportunity to ask questions. Members can then socialise over coffee and biscuits and catch up on all the latest happenings.

The general meeting is also an opportunity to keep up to date on our u3a as well as getting information about new interest groups and updates on existing groups. Our Social Events, Holidays, Outings and London Walks teams will be represented at the general meeting, whenever they have offerings available, to provide full information and take bookings as appropriate.

Please see below for a list of forthcoming meetings and use the links at the right for talks, tutorials and other events organised by the London Region of u3as and by our national body The Third Age Trust.

Venue Details

Fairfield Church is in Windsor Close, Northwood Hills, HA6 1PB. Bus routes 282, H11 & H13 stop nearby and Northwood Hills Metropolitan Line station is within easy reach. Turn right out of the station, use the zebra crossing, keep going and Windsor Close is then the first road on the left.

The Fairfield building has full disabled access and a hearing loop system is installed in the hall.

There is limited parking at Fairfield and nearby. For general meetings the parking behind the building is limited to Blue Badge holders that have booked with the Communications Secretary (contact details are on the back page of our newsletters). A separate booking is needed for each meeting. The ABP meetings have a lower attendance and parking for those is on a first-come first-served basis.
