U3As are self-help, self-managed lifelong learning co-operatives for older people no longer in full time work, providing opportunities for their members to share learning experiences in a range of interest groups and to pursue learning for fun.
The U3A movement began in France in the 1970s, in the UK in 1982 and in Northleach in 1999.
Our U3A is aimed at those living in Northleach and the surrounding villages, including Chedworth, and we now have about 140 members.
The annual subscription of £13 (or £24 for a couple) includes a monthly newsletter.
