Welcome to Midhurst U3A

Welcome to Midhurst U3A's website. Its purpose is to keep our members and the wider community informed about our activities.

Midhurst U3A is one of over 900 U3As right across the UK, each affiliated to the Third Age Trust. Our U3A exists for the benefit of those, no longer in full time employment, who wish to learn and keep active. Members share their knowledge and experience, and participate in a wide range of educational, creative and leisure activities.

Midhurst U3A was founded in 1994 and has grown into a thriving organisation with over 380 members. 2014 was our 20th anniversary!

Members attend our monthly General Meetings, join our 40 Special Interest Groups, take part in our outings to places of interest and attend our social events.

Each General Meeting has a guest speaker together with briefings and displays of our activities. They also provide an excellent opportunity to socialise.

Our Special Interest Groups cover a very wide range of subjects including arts, crafts, literature, languages, hobbies and sports. We also organise a selection of visits each year. Here are some photos taken during the recent trip to the Foundling Museum.
