Welcome to the Long Eaton and District U3A website
Our Registered Charity No. 1182489
We were established in 2007 and are part of a world-wide organisation dedicated to retired and semi-retired people who, after the completion of many years of employment, wish to continue to learn new interests in the company of others. We aim to encourage both study and leisure activities in a wide range of topics. U3As such as ours, draw on the knowledge, experience and skills of their members to organise and lead these various groups for the benefit of the membership.
Since we learn only for the pleasure of it, no qualifications are required to join us and none are given.
At Long Eaton u3a we have a range of Interest Groups, plus a Monthly Meeting, on the third Wednesday of the month (except August). Please click on Events above to see the details.

To join any of the interest groups it is a requirement of the Third Age Trust that you first have to become a fully paid-up member of Long Eaton and District U3A.
