Site administrators can now assign login names which give permission to edit a single page of a site. This is mainly intended for group leaders who just need to look after their own group page.
If you are an administrator, please see the revised Help file for the Admin options. When you create a new login for a page editor you will need to nominate a page, which you have already created, for him or her to manage. Page editors cannot create or remove their page, but they can edit its text, and create, modify and remove any pictures, links, events and contact details associated with it.
I have always been a bit doubtful of the value of page-level passwords, but was finally persuaded that they would satisfy a genuine need. I have tried to implement them in a way that will not impinge on users who don't require them, and as usual will be interested in feedback from site administrators who have requested this kind of facility in the past.
