Hello to all you lovers of live music – thank you for looking at the information about our u3a group aptly named GigBuddies.
The group acts as a hub for members who would like to go to live music events, but either find themselves going to gigs on their own quite a lot – or feel awkward about going at all without company.
At the monthly meetings, held in convivial surroundings, plans are made for future events which are then circulated to members of the group using our GigBuddies WhatsApp group and by email. WhatsApp also enables members to reach out and see if someone else wants to go to a gig which may not have already been flagged up.
We usually visit local venues but there is no reason why we cannot go further afield. Come and join us, discover the wealth and variety of local live music which is happening around here and have fun!
