Elmbridge

Events

Members of Elmbridge u3a are cordially invited to the talks listed below under Dates for your Diary. The talks normally take place on the first Wednesday of each month at Claygate Village Hall and are sometimes recorded for later viewing by members who could not attend.

Please note that some links are to other people’s websites. Once you use them you will find that their “Home” is no longer Elmbridge u3a’s “Home” and, in order to escape and return to our website, you may need to reopen it.

Surrey Network Study Days are held at the Menuhin Hall (KT11 3QQ) on the Cobham/Fetcham/Leatherhead road. These events are open only to u3a Members. See the Events page of Surrey U3A Network for the latest information and to book.

These meetings are held at Claygate Village Hall, doors open 1.30 p.m., talks start at 2 p.m. and admission is £1. Currently some of the the talks are also made available to members online, at no charge. To see the current programme click Talks March to June
The address of Claygate Village Hall is Church Rd, Claygate, Esher KT10 0JP. The talks are popular and we may have to turn people away.
When Covid restrictions and your car insurance permit, please consider whether you can offer anyone else a lift to Claygate - we would encourage people to car share if they possibly can. Parking: 35 parking spaces at the hall, 43 space car park at 123 Hare Lane, KT10 0RD, 90 space car park at Torrington Lodge, 164 Hare Lane, KT10 0RA. Both are within roughly 10 minutes walk of the hall. Parking on the surrounding roads is free.
The K3 Bus route goes to Claygate Village Hall from Surbiton / Esher / Dittons. Claygate station is a 15 minute walk away, with taxis nearby, and has services to Surbiton, Hinchley Wood, Cobham and Oxshott.
