Exercise
You must be a Member of Ealing u3a to take part in an Interest Group
CURRENT GROUP STATUS
These classes are going again and are run by StayActive4Life who specialise in exercise for older people.
The Monday 10:00 am class is held in the St. Mary’s Church Hall, next to Morrisons Acton with several buses stopping right outside.
It is exclusively a U3A members only group, and currently has a few vacancies. The main aim of this class is to improve strength and balance and to avoid falls. It also helps enormously with general fitness and caters for many levels of ability. The one thing that is never done is getting down on the floor as there is always the worry we might not get up again! The class lasts 45 minutes and many of us go for a coffee afterwards.
The courses are run by qualified instructors who will make sure that any health problems are taken into account with the exercise you do.
Classes cost £7.
Convenor - while it is not a U3A-run group, Rosemary Hart is the convenor and can book you in. Contact Rosemary via the blue bird on this page for more information.
StayActive4Life run many other classes all over Ealing throughout the week and several of our members go to some of these; their Zumba classes are very popular. For details of all the classes that StayActive4Life run, use the appropriate link below for the area you require:
