Groups

Click on the group(s) which interest you for more information. Each local U3A has a number of interest groups co-ordinated by members. When you click on the group you are interested in details of the group will be displayed.

New Groups can be added at any time, there just needs to be someone prepared to lead it. Even though initial support may be low for a new group once people know about it more will come. Where an existing group happens to be full if there is a need a second group can be started. Your ideas for new groups are always needed.

Our membership subscription cover an affiliation fee to National U3A, monthly meeting costs (some U3A's have a lower subscription but charge for meetings) but not group charges. Activity groups have to be self financing, in reality most meet in members' homes sharing any cost among themselves.

Some activity groups are shared with other local organizations and not exclusively for U3A members.
