The aims of the group are to:
Introduce Scientific & Technology topics of varied interest to all members. These range from serious scientific and technological matters through to things that are curious or unusual.
The group currently meets the third Thursday of the month at 2pm using Zoom as our main
medium for sharing presentations
Group members are encouraged to introduce topics of their choice lasting 30 minutes upwards and we also have engaged external expert speakers for some sessions.
You do not have to be an expert just be prepared to contribute, listen or ask questions. If you are interested click on the message icon.
From time to time we organise external visits to places of scientific or technological interest.
