Welcome to our U3A
Dronfield and District U3A, registered charity number 1189224, was formed in October 2013. We are part of the Derbyshire and East Midlands u3a Network. Like all other u3as we are unique, but operate within the national u3a guidelines and philosophy. Our membership is drawn predominantly but not exclusively from Dronfield and its surrounding areas. Members of other u3as are welcome to join.

New and Re-Joining Members

Interest Groups
Our interest groups are listed alphabetically in our Groups List. Once you have opened the list, click anywhere on a group's name to expand its details and see the objectives of the group, whether or not it has vacancies (assume it has unless it says otherwise) and when, where and how often it meets. Contact details for Group Coordinators can be found on the Groups page, along with information about how they operate. Some groups publish information about future meetings on the Dronfield and District U3A Calendar.
Monthly Meetings
Our Monthly Meetings are open to all members. The meetings provide an opportunity to discuss business, to meet other members, share information about group activities and hear talks by visiting speakers. Dates and details of planned meetings are on the Members page.
Newsletters
We publish a monthly newsletter, which is emailed to all members. Copies of recent issues can be found on the News page. We hope they will give a flavour of our u3a, reflecting the wide range of interests and the friendly and welcoming nature of our members.
Executive Committee
