Overview of groups

There is no formal group membership and all A&D u3a members are welcome to attend meetings of any group. However you are advised to contact the organiser before going to a meeting in case of last minute changes. Many coordinators use Beacon to contact "group members" (regular attenders) and you can become a "group member" using the Beacon portal. Click on the Beacon button above for details.

You can obtain more information about each group's meetings and activities and the name of the coordinator on their web page by clicking on the relevant link in the table below. Coordinators' contact details are in the newsletter.

Several groups maintain their own web pages. In this case the name of their page editor is given on the group's page. All of them welcome additions and comments about their web pages, including reports and photographs of group activities.

We always welcome suggestions for new groups, either from existing members or those thinking of joining who would like to see other activities. We are always interested to hear from anyone prepared to lead a subject. In particular we have a number of groups that are not meeting at present for lack of a coordinator; please think of offering to take on or share this straightforward role if you can.
