HOW TO JOIN US:
The easiest and quickest way to join our u3a is to JOIN ONLINE.
Membership to the end of 2024 is only £16.00. Please tick the GIFT AID option if you are a UK tax payer. You will still pay £16.00, but this enables us to claim an additional £4.00 from HMRC (The 25% that you've already paid in tax).
To join online using a credit/debit card or PayPal use the JOIN ONLINE link in the Links section of this page. When viewed on a desktop computer this will be on the right, but it will appear at the bottom on a mobile device. Please note that you do not need to have a PayPal account to pay by debit/credit card, we just use PayPal as a payment gateway, just scroll down to pay by credit/debit card.
The Awareness & Recruitment Video is the same one that's on our Home page. Its a short two minute video about Gravesend, Northfleet & District u3a explaining who can join, what we do, what u3a means and how you can join.

Single? - We have a group for you, however all groups welcome you.
All Groups, Activities and Events are undertaken at your own risk.
Monthly meetings – Are held on the 2nd Friday of every month and start at 14:00. All members are welcome, just show your membership card at the entrance, at The City Praise Centre (CPC) at the Lion Garage end of Lower Higham Road, DA12 2LY. We have a different guest speaker each month who will give a 45-60 minute presentation and take questions, plus there's free tea/coffee and biscuits afterwards.
Newsletters – We produce a monthly Newsletter which we Email with details of our current activities and calendar of events together with group contact details to all our members with email. Some printed newsletters are available at our monthly meetings and you can look at a version with the contact details removed in the Newsletter section of this website.
Gravesend, Northfleet & District u3a - Our History
Formed in 2003 our u3a is one of over 1000 u3a groups in the country spread through our cities, towns and villages and is designed for retired or semi-retired people to provide an opportunity to learn or develop new pastimes, skills, interests and sports, whilst providing the opportunity for socialising with other people with similar interests. Like all u3a groups, we are self-financing and run entirely by the members. We encourage all members to join interest groups that attract them and to form new interest groups or duplicate groups when one becomes full.
