Welcome to the University of the Third Age in Norton Radstock, which covers the towns of Midsomer Norton, and Radstock in North East Somerset and the surrounding villages and communities.
We are a lively and friendly group offering a wide range of activities for those no longer in full time employment. We hold a Speaker-meeting once per month (on the second Monday) from 2 - 4, (Our speakers cover a wide range of interesting subjects), and a Coffee morning once per month (last Monday) 10.30 - 12 noon. All meetings are held at The Somer Centre, Midsomer Norton which is just off the High Street next to the Sports Centre.
Our current membership is approx. 400 and the Annual Membership fee is £12 per person. Visitors are welcome to join us for a "taster" meeting to check if the U3A is for them.
We have 35 Interest Groups which include languages, scrabble, art, rambling, music, mah-jong, psychology, garden visits, and various other subjects, which are well supported. Please use the menu to explore in detail what we have to offer.
