Photography
Updated 16.04.2024
The group enjoys photography as a hobby and meets at Thornton Community Hall on the 2nd Tuesday of the month, 2.00pm to 4.00pm.
There is a £10 annual charge to cover the cost of hall hire and refreshments.
Our meetings usually include a 30 to 45 minute topic of interest followed by a review of the project photos taken in the month, plus any special photos members wish to share. To give us more hands on experience we also have practical sessions and occasional outings. Our monthly Photo Project challenge encourages us to get out and use our cameras.
You can see our photos on our Flickr site by clicking here Glenfield u3a Flickr site.
We are a friendly, relaxed group keen to learn new skills, share knowledge & enthusiasm - we are definitely not a competitive camera club and would welcome new members of all abilities to join us.
If you are interested in joining or require further information please contact Michael Barbour, the Group Coordinator for via the Message link above.
