U3A Science Network

Please use the buttons or tabs above to explore our site

The web site has recently been reorganised, with some of the menu buttons being changed or added. Do look at Jo Livingston's account of the first 10 years of the Seminars on Earlier Meetings.

The U3A Science Network exists to encourage science activities within the U3A. To that end, since 2003 the Network has held an Annual Meeting in August. Our next event will be held at Nottingham University from 7-10 August 2017. The meeting will consist of talks given by U3A members on a wide range of scientific and technological topics plus a visit. The Annual Meeting is organised by a small team of U3A members from around the country who can be contacted via our Contact page.

This website also allows U3A members to identify and contact other U3A Science groups across the country (via the U3A Science and Technology Groups page) and has links to some useful resources.

Sixty-six Members - see photo below - attended the U3A Science Network Annual Seminar 2016 at Harper Adams University in August and details of the program can be viewed on the Earlier Meetings page.
