Caves

Welcome to Caves u3a

Caves u3a was formed in 2005, and continues to grow, such that we currently have around 175 members.
Along with all other u3as, we aim to provide activities for those who are retired from full-time employment. There are a number of interest groups, both large and small. These are listed on the groups page.

You can also attend interest groups in neighbouring u3as who form part of the Accord network. These are Caves, Cottingham, AWAKE (Anlaby Willerby and Kirkella) Howden, Hornsea, Swanland, Hessle, Wolds, Pocklington and Beverley. Their interest groups are listed on their own websites (u3a Beverley or whatever) You should contact the group leader initially to make sure there is a vacancy. Their own u3a members will take priority over members of other u3as.

If you would like to see a copy of the Constitution, please click on the link on the right hand side of this page

Monthly GENERAL meetings are held at the western end of South Cave and include:

  • a speaker
  • interest group updates
  • notices
  • refreshments
  • time to meet other members
