About the u3a
u3a membership is open to people no longer in full time employment. We come together to learn new things just for the fun of it. We enjoy exploring new ideas, skills and activities. Here are the Principles of the u3a Movement.
Who are we?
Canterbury & District u3a is a lively and growing organisation with about 1000 members living locally. We are one of 1000+ u3a groups in the UK. We offer courses and activities in members' homes and venues throughout the district as well as courses over Zoom. See our Courses and Events pages.

We welcome help from all members to assist us with their skills and enthusiasm. Some people enjoy giving courses,others like helping with the administration, hosting courses at home etc. To learn more please click on the link How I can Help.
